Though I've painted many metals before this was my first for silver. The still life was set up by Donna Noice and this is the part of the whole scene that I decided to paint. I thought it was a neat idea to put a painting in a painting. I did end up toning down the reflections in the silver though because I thought it just looked a little too much like Flavor Flav's teeth when he smiles. Although I'm pretty sure his are gold and not silver.
