Today, while the heat is soaring outside, I'm finally taking the time to stay in the cool studio and get organized. I created this blog after procrastinating for 3 weeks (or maybe it's been 3 years). My plan is to post my recent work and to hopefully manage to make that everyday. Wish me luck - I haven't exactly been disciplined enough to paint every day so far. However, my intentions are good. Plus, I have to learn exactly how to manage the look of this thing. Being a graphic designer, I feel so limited in the typography choices.
Today, I'll just post a bunch of pictures that are already finished and move on from there. The first batch is a body of work that I call a quilt of paintings. I did 16, 6x6 paintings then built frames for each and hung them installation style for viewing in my studio.
